How doclift Started – From expertshare.live to Today

doclift wasn't designed on a blank page — it grew out of an existing platform, and out of a problem the pandemic made impossible to ignore.

The problem: disconnected tools

Medical education is going increasingly digital. Yet many organizations still rely on disconnected tools: one for webinars, one for communication, one for certification, one for community engagement.

The rapid shift driven by the COVID-19 pandemic sharpened the need for action and showed that healthcare needs connected, scalable digital learning environments — not a toolbox.

The origin: expertshare.live

Founded in the UAE in 2023, doclift grew out of expertshare.live — a Swiss platform for live and virtual expert exchange. Built by award-winning Swiss engineers, doclift combines Swiss technical precision with a global outlook on the future of medical education.

Operations continue to this day under expertshare AG in 5400 Baden, Switzerland, with a second location in Dubai Silicon Oasis.

From digital events to a vision

What started with digital events grew into a larger idea: helping healthcare organizations bundle education, communication and professional engagement into one digital environment — instead of spreading them across five systems.

The mission

The commitment to make a positive impact on patient care. The conviction behind it: advancing medical education and strengthening collaboration improves care worldwide — and makes medical knowledge more accessible and more sustainable.
