Over the last few decades, neurology has increasingly specialized into sub-areas, driven by new treatment approaches and technologies. For practicing physicians, a practically oriented basic knowledge of common neurological diseases is essential in order to recognize them and to be familiar with the fundamental treatment options. widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;" id="isPasted">Among the most common neurological disorders are polyneuropathies, positional vertigo, and multiple sclerosis. The first part of the training will teach participants how to recognize these conditions and how to differentiate neurological emergencies from chronic illnesses. Many diseases of the nervous system are treated interdisciplinarily by specialists from surgery and neurology. The second part of the training will therefore focus on common neurological and orthopedic conditions: cervical spinal stenosis, back pain, and nerve entrapment syndromes such as carpal tunnel syndrome. This symposium is aimed at general practitioners and colleagues from all disciplines who wish to gain an overview of typical manifestations of common neurological diseases and their treatment.
